Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using the Face AI API platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

Face AI provides an identity verification API including face liveness detection, forgery analysis, face comparison, and document OCR. The service is provided to registered partners only, following an access request and account approval.

3. Partner Obligations

You must: (a) keep your API key confidential and never embed it in mobile applications; (b) use the service only for lawful identity verification purposes; (c) obtain appropriate consent from your end users before submitting their biometric data; (d) comply with applicable data protection and KYC regulations in your jurisdiction.

4. Pricing and Payment

Fees are charged per successful verification at the current rate published on our pricing page. The rate may change with 14 days written notice. Usage is charged against your prepaid balance. Service is suspended if your balance reaches zero. Failed or expired verification sessions are not charged.

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Face AI for: surveillance of individuals without their consent, building competing identity verification products using our API output, processing data of children under 18, or any use that violates applicable law.

6. Uptime and SLA

We target 99.9% monthly uptime for the API. Planned maintenance is announced at least 24 hours in advance. Compensation for downtime, if any, is limited to credits applied to your account balance.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Face AI's liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the partnership with 30 days written notice. We may suspend access immediately for violation of these terms or non-payment. Upon termination, your data is deleted within 30 days.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
